MidCoast Council replaced an end of life CAD validation tool with Open Spatial's ACDC to validate as constructed drawings for water, sewer, and reuse assets. ACDC migrated legacy standards, added tailored rules, and enabled self validation through Desktop and Portal. Consultants now fix issues before submitting, data quality is higher, and GIS workflows continue without rework.

ACDC Desktop 5.3 is here! This release enhances validation accuracy with new pipe direction checks and expanded error reporting for node-to-pipe snapping. Additional improvements include visibility options for FDO data and enhanced spatial integrity rules.
